The instruments in the set are approximately 60% of the size of conventional sinus instruments, have sharp edges and are roughened.
This concept allows minimal window size preparation and the membrane is easily elevated due to the sharpened edges. Reflection from the operating microscope or magnifying system is greatly reduced by the delivate coarseness of the insturment surface. The instruments are numbered and colour coded for easy progression through the procedure.
